WE ARE MULLEN!!!
Our Mission is Timeless…
In the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle and the Brothers of the Christian Schools, Mullen High School is a Lasallian, Catholic college preparatory high school whose graduates embrace God’s gift of learning, devote their lives to seeking ceaselessly for His learning, and commit themselves to using His learning in the service of others. Mullen’s hallmarks are its exemplary teaching, its community of faith, its scholastic rigor, and its care and vigilance for each student.
Our Purpose is Strong…
The purpose of Mullen Athletics is to provide all Mullen students the opportunity to participate and compete in co-curricular sports within the realm of the Lasallian core principles of Faith in the Presence of God, Concern for the Poor and Social Justice, Quality Education, Respect for All Persons, and Inclusive Community.  Benefiting from the Lasallian tradition of Mullen High School, the camaraderie of teammates, the honing of character through competition, and the commitment of dedicated coaching staffs, Mullen athletes will develop:
  • An understanding that (their sport) is what they do and is not who they are.
  • An appreciation of their opponents knowing that the greatness of their accomplishments is measured by that of their adversaries.
  • Life skills dealing with working through and overcoming obstacles whether those obstacles are circumstances and/or people.
  • Healthy life skills to carry them through life to help protect them from addiction, stress, and laziness and to enhance better mental health.
  • The work ethic to grind and endure for the betterment of things bigger than themselves.
  • The power to love more deeply all of humanity.
Our Philosophy is Sound…
Mullen High School operates under the idea that sports are a privilege and not a right, and therefore, should be fun and positive while upholding the institution's Catholic identity and the traditions of its Lasallian heritage.  Mullen athletics is educationally based and offers a safe environment for students to make mistakes, to learn, and to grow while also learning the value of fair play and sportsmanship through competition.  Under the demand of hard work and endurance, students develop the bond of commitment to improvement, commitment to the team, and the humbling commitment to the greater good.  Students are also expected to learn how to interact with adults by advocating for themselves in a respectful way with coaches, administrators, officials, and parents.  And finally, students learn the importance of teamwork and have the opportunity to develop life-long friendships and memories from their athletic experience.

Mustang Athletics

Mullen High School offers 27 state-sanctioned sports for Mustang boys and girls, and are open to all participants.  We promote respect for adults, fellow team members and opponents at all times on and off the competitive arena.

For those who aspire to be serious athletes, Mullen also offers some of the finest coaches and most-competitive interscholastic teams in Colorado in its upper classifications.
